More Jeff Buckley Music Coming By Year’s End

Angel-voiced troubadour Jeff Buckley only released one proper album (Grace) before his untimely death in 1997, but his music has proven timeless and, maybe more importantly, profitable. Since his death, a steady flow of posthumous releases have found their way to the marketplace, the most recent being last year’s The Grace EPs. Now, NME is reporting that yet another release is in the works. According to the UK ‘zine’s website, Buckley’s mother has revealed that a collection of songs recorded at New York’s CafÈ Sin-e will hit the streets as a double CD. The material will “contain some of the most amazing renditions of cover tunes the world has ever heard.” The as-yet-untitled live set is expected to be released before the end of the year.
