Massive Attack’s 3-D Nabbed By UK Police In Relation To Child Porn

Robert Del Naja, better know as Massive Attack’s 3-D, was arrested on Tuesday when police raided his Bristol, England home. The arrest came as part of Operation Ore, the same national child porn sting that nabbed Pete Townshend. According to Rolling Stone, police came away from the raid with computer equipment and what was thought to be class A drugs. Naja has since been released without charge following questioning. The star told The Sun newspaper, “I have never looked at child pornography in my life. I am co-operating fully with the police and I would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely. I have total faith in the justice system.”

Massive Attack’s highly anticipated new release, 100th Window, is currently in the UK top ten and has spent the past two weeks atop commercial specialty charts in the US. The band has also been a very vocal advocate of peace regarding the current situation in Iraq.
