Sessions@AOL Makes Its Way To TV Via muchmusic USA

America Online’s extremely popular online program Sessions@AOL will be making the move to cable television this month. Muchmusic USA has teamed with the online giant to bring their viewers a two-part, hour-long special dubbed Highlights From Sessions@AOL. Part one of the program captures performances and interviews from Queens Of The Stone Age, Jimmy Eat World, The Donnas, and The Used, while part two will feature hip-hop acts Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, LL Cool J, and Ja Rule. According to Billboard, the special will air March 16 at 7 p.m. ET with encores presentations March 16 at 10 p.m., March 18 at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and March 22 at 5 p.m.


Sessions@AOL boasts over 1 million streams a week and has proven itself to be a hit among online music fans, while Muchmusic USA itself penetrates almost 30 million US households. Highlights From Sessions @AOL will be AOL Music’s first television production.
