In an unfortunate turn of events, news has come out that White Stripes’ drummer Meg White has broken her arm. Evidently, two weeks ago she slipped on ice and fractured her wrist in two places. The band has called off all performances, included the NME-rumored South By Southwest secret show, until their April UK tour, which they hope to still be able to play. Hopefully, she will heal in time for their large slate of scheduled events, including their gig at the Coachella festival. I wonder if this will lead the Stripes to change their colors to black and blue?
