StarTime International’s latest signing, The Joggers, will be performing on Thursday evening down in Austin, Texas, as part of The Fader’s SXSW “Happy Hour” festivities. Although a sharp departure from the moody pop that has earned the label much attention (The Walkmen, French Kicks), the group’s roots ragga sound is sure to go over well with the 300 plus invite only crowd. The Natural History, another of StarTime’s blossoming young acts will be joining their new labelmates on the same evening, and, if their fantastic new album is any way to measure, the band’s performance will be killer.
