Beans, a member of the now defunct Anti-Pop Consortium had his record release party last night at Pianos, located in the lower east side of Manhattan, where Mr. Ball Beans delivered a stellar performance. Many groups let alone solo artists, fail to do what Beans delivered with just a mic and a CD player. From start to finish Beans commanded the crowdís attention with his words as well as the funk of his newly polished self-produced tracks. Even when the electro infused-hip hop beats ran out, the vibe was unstoppable as he proceeded to bless the crowd with acapellas and freestyles.
