Chicago-based quartet Sea & Cake dropped their sixth studio album, One Bedroom, for Thrill Jockey in January, but they’re already getting ready to release a seven-track mini album. The new release will feature four new songs plus three remixes of One Bedroom tracks by Stereolab, Broadcast, and Carl Craig. Called Glass, the mini-album will be released by Thrill Jockey on May 8. Prior to the release of Glass, Sea & Cake will embark on a 17-date tour of the US that will include a two-night home stand at Chicago’s Metro, as well as three back to back shows at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The tour will kick off on March 19 in Austin, TX, and continue through April 25 at Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club.
Glass will be available for purchase at the forthcoming Sea & Cake shows, but won’t be available otherwise until its official release date on May 8. See the Sea & Cake’s tour dates below.
