While other acts are making a bee line for US soil, Omaha, Nebraska’s new wave revival superstars The Faint are headed overseas to take their ¸ber-cool dance rock to the to European continent. The tour kicks of this evening in Portsmouth, UK, and will run through France and the Netherlands in the next week before returning to the UK for another eight scheduled dates. The Faint will then head back to the US for a 24-date domestic tour that will start (April 11) and end (May 18) with hometown shows in Omaha. According to Pitchfork, the band have also recently contributed a new song, “Take Me To The Hospital,” to the forthcoming Saddle Creek compilation album entitled Saddle Creek 50. Look for that release on April 8.
