Beastie Boys Pay Tribute To Jam Master Jay

Fans in Las Vegas get ready now, because the Beastie Boys will be coming to your town for a very special performance. Billboard reports that the intergalactic planetary squad will pay tribute to the slain Run-D.M.C DJ Jam Master Jay on April 25 at the House of Blues. DJ Hurricane (got clout) will also be on the bill, and no one knows if any Run-D.M.C. members will perform or be in attendance for the audio homage. The Beasties will use this performance as a dry run for their Coachella slot a few days after. As of now, the Beasties are schedule to play a Tibetan Freedom Concert at Tokyo’s Bay NK Hall on April 19, but because of the recent SARS outbreak, Iím not too sure if that performance will go on (although I am just speculating, never hating). Beastie Boys recently dropped their anti-war anthem ìIn A World Gone Madî on the Internet, and will unload afresh new batch of beats and rhymes later this year.
