Tuesday Express-Deftones To Rock Club Dates; Mogwai Album In May

It’s nice to see the big bands give back a little and that’s exactly what Sacramento new-metallers Deftones are doing. They are releasing their new self-titled album on May 20 and heading out on the road on the Summer Sanitarium tour with their buddies Metallica, Linkin Park and, uh, Limp Bizkit, but before that monster tour, they plan on doing a set of club dates. To keep it intimate and keep the crowd control issues in check, they won’t be announcing the dates until a day in advance. So, if you need to peep the ‘Tones keep your ear to the ground. Or your ear to the phone with someone at Maverick.

Scottish quiet/loud maestros and all-around shit stirrers (remember their “Blur are shite” tour shirts?) Mogwai are ready to yet again bring the recorded noise. The noise-rockers will drop Happy Songs For Happy People on June 17 via our indie friends at Matador Records.
Not a whole lot of info is currently available so watch this space for further updates and any tour itinerary info that may make itself known.
