New Guns N’ Roses Project Narrowing Singer Choices?

After months and months of rumor and innuendo and live appearances with Gina Gershon, Sen Dog, B Real and Shooter Jennings, news is coming out that the new Guns N’ Roses project may finally be whittling down the lead singer candidates. The band, who is currently comprised of ex-Gunners Slash, drummer Matt Sorum and bassist Duff McKagan, has been trying out further singers recently and it is believed that there are now two front-runners: ex-Skid Row screecher Sebastian Bach and snake-dancing Stone Temple Pilot leader Scott Weiland. VH1 is reporting that the band is leaning towards Weiland but that he is believed to be entering rehab soon (a situation with which the band are trying to help out with) and are unsure as to what he will want to do when he exits. Bach, for his part, is writing on his website that he’s been working out with a band that fits the description of the ex-Gun crew, but says no decision has yet been made. Oh, the drama! Stay tuned for further updates and lies.
