Hendrix Bassist Noel Redding Dies

Noel Redding, the legendary bass player in the Jimi Hendrix Experience, has passed away, according to a statement released by his manager, Ian Grant. “Noel reunites with Jimi and his mother Margaret who died only a few weeks ago,” wrote Grant in a rather touching letter on trackrecords.co.uk. Redding appeared on the now biblical Are You Experienced record and many more recordings before Hendrix’s death in 1970. The cause of death has not been made public. Noel Redding was born on Christmas day in 1945.
