The godfather of chronic, Tommy Chong, pleaded guilty to conspiring to sell drug paraphernalia in a federal court Tuesday, for what appears to be the ìmother of all bummers.î After the hearing, Chong was quoted as saying “I don’t smoke; I quit,” as a small stream of smoke slowly escaped from his ears. The 64-year old burnout/comedian was released on bail and must undergo drug testing and remain in the Pacific Palisades area. Chong ìthe bongî faces a maximum of three years in prison and a $250,000 fine…for selling GLASS PIPES. He didnít even sell drugs. He didnít even have drugs on him, he just made pipes and bongs. So why isnít it illegal to sell bullets or guns? Seriously, how stupid can this country be? The answer is George W. Bush.
