M. Night Shyamalan, the man behind Signs, Unbreakable, and The Sixth Sense, will soon begin work on his next movie, Woods, which is the first of a two-picture deal with the Walt Disney Co. Woods, which could be seen as soon as summer 2004, is set in 1897 (uh oh) and revolves around a close-knit community that lives with the frightening knowledge that a mythical race of creatures resides in the woods around them. Ok…I guess it sounds interesting, but I have no desire to see Blair Witch Project 3, The Return Of The Witch. Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Joaquin Phoenix are in talks to star in the film which will be produced by Shyamalan along with Scott Rudin and Sam Mercer.
