Gwen Stefani has signed on to play Jean Harlow, the starlet who began that whole platinum blonde craze, in Aviator, a biopic of Howard Hughes. Stefani, who has never acted in a movie (so why not give her a shot right, screw the real actresses), will ìstarî in the flick alongside Leonardo DiCaprio who will portray the famed Hollywood film producer. Miramax confirmed with MTV that Stefani has not crossed all of the tís, and dotted all of the iís, so everything isnít signed, sealed, and delivered just yet. The flick is expected to start shooting in August in the SARS infected country of Canada.
