Don’t “Panic” – Morrissey Signs New Pact With Attack/Sanctuary

After months of rumors, the rumblings are true: Morrissey has finally been inked to a record deal in the US. The former Smiths frontman will now release records for Sanctuary Records under their Attack imprint. Attack used to be the home of the Trojan label reggae releases, and Moz wanted to be associated with Sanctuary due to that connection. It is believed that Morrissey has many songs ready to record, so although no release date has yet been released, new recordings will begin soon for the first album since 1997’s Maladjusted.
