You’ve heard the whispers. You know she is looking for a deal. And, now, you’re about to find out where she’s landed. The “she” in question is Courtney Love and it’s looking like she’s decided to make her nest at Virgin Records. Ms. Love is recording the aforementioned solo album, America’s Sweetheart, in scenic France, her first work since Hole’s quite nice indeed Celebrity Skin in 1998. The album has caused her to cancel her planned Carling Weekend shows, also known as the Reading and Leeds Festivals, this August due to further recording requirements. Hopefully this means her album will be ready by fall, but we’ll let you know the deets when we get ‘em.
