Serial P.O.P. Set To Invade The US

Scottish electro pop-rockers Serial P.O.P.’s debut EP, Fuck You Jack We’re Fireproof, was released in 2001 to rave reviews across the pond and got some major airplay on XFM and the BBC’s Radio One. US-based label Good Science scooped these lads up and brought them Stateside to record their debut full length, White Sex Male, currently available from the band’s website. Serial P.O.P is in the midst of a US tour at the moment in support of the new release. They’ll swoop into LA’s Knitting Factory tonight and will continue through the end of the month when the band returns to LA for a gig at Spaceland on June 30.

I haven’t seen them yet, but NME said that they “rocked like Everest and popped like Pepsi,” which sounds pretty cool to me. Check out Serial P.O.P.’s tour dates below.
