Austin City Limit Festival Adds Dandy Warhols, Kings Of Leon, More

It’s summer, and short of vacations, what’s the most exciting thing to talk about? No, not Sammy Sosa and his corked bat: festivals! The famed Austin City Limits Music festival is yet again rocking in style this year from September 19 through September 21. Amongst the fine assortment of acts for the 2000 to the 3 are the already announced REM, Ben Harper, Beta Band, Beth Orton, Jack Johnson, as well as the new attractions Dandy Warhols, Yo La Tengo, Turin Brakes, Polyphonic Spree and Kings Of Leon, just to name a few. Over 100 artists will be performing over the three day festival, and as anyone who has attended South by Southwest can attest, Austin is a mighty fine city for drinking beer and watching bands. Oh yes. Tickets are available on the festivalís website and kids under 10 get in free with a paying adult. Now THAT’s family values for you. It is Wís state, after all.
