Sex Pistols Reform For August North American Gigs

Punk rock legends Sex Pistols are yet again reforming for a summer tour of North America. Although frontman Johnny Rotten/Lydon has said that they will never record any new material, the mighty four-piece is coming together for a set of dates that so far only number two, August 21 in NY and a show in Toronto on August 25. However, more dates are expected to be added to flesh out the tour. Live, the band will consist of the original lineup, Lydon on vocals, Steve Jones on guitar Glen Matlock on bass and Paul Cook on drums. Just to think, it was only 26 years ago this week that the Pistols stood at number 2 on the UK charts, just during the Queen’s Silver Jubilee celebrations. Keep your eyes on The Tripwire.com for added dates to the Sex Pistols’ 2003 North American tour.
