Polyphonic Spree Signs To Hollywood, Prepares Disney Omnipresence

24-man religious cult-disguised-as-symphonic-rock act Polyphonic Spree have officially inked a record deal with Hollywood Records. As part of the contract, the ëSpree actually give part of their touring revenue to Hollywood, but they also get the rights to their music back at the end of the process, as well. Next week, on June 24, Hollywood is planning on re-releasing Polyphonic Spree’s 2002 album, The Beginning Stages OfÖ and will package it with a bonus 4-track CD, before releasing a proper new album from the Tim DeLaughter-led crew next year. Buena Vista Music head Bob Cavallo even has plans to market the band at the companyís Disney theme parks and ABC TV networks. A possible childrenís album is in the works, as well. Free To Be You And Me 2003, anyone?
