Pulp Mates Change Names, Styles To Become Relaxed Muscle

If you were making a list of the likelihood of certain bands doing something completely different and putting on make-up and totally changing their sound, UK Britpoppers Pulp would be way down on the list. Oh, but itís exactly what theyíve done. Well, not all of them, but frontman Jarvis Cocker, who has renamed himself Darren Spooner (a nod to or dig at Fischerspoonerís Casey Spooner?), and band guitarist Richard Hawley, who is now Wayne Marsden, have formed Relaxed Muscle, a gothy-leaning synth-pop act. Rough Trade has inked the band internationally and their debut double A-side single ìBilly Jackî/îSexualizedî will drop on June 23. Wacky!
