Planning on being in the UK this fall? If youíre in the UK in October or November of this year, you might get to catch a reformed Dexyís Midnight Runners. The folksy troupe best known in the States for their seminal single, ìCome On Eileen,î are rebanding for a UK theatre tour. Frontman Kevin Rowland, who himself had a (rather dismal) solo comeback attempt in 1999 on Creation Records, told dotmusic.com ìWe intend to bring a theatrical edge to the whole show…we will be doing at least a couple of new songs and we will be putting a new perspective on the whole thing.î Also set to be released this fall is a Dexyís hits collection, including two new tracks, both of which are due to see UK single release.
