Grohl Equates Probot Album To A Metal Supernatural

Further details are being made available about Dave Grohlís metal side project, Probot. The band, who also count Zwan axeman Matt Sweeney and Adam Kasper, the Foo Fightersí producer, in their numbers, will have a different vocalist for every song, a situation Grohl compares to Santanaís hugely popular Supernatural album. He told MTV, “It’s not unlike the Santana record in that it really kicks ass, but it’s not the kind of thing that you’d expect.” Amongst the guests on vocal duties are Lemmy Kilmeister from Motorhead, Slayerís Tom Araya, Snake from Voivod and King Diamond. Expect to find the album in stores in September or October on Southern Lord Recordings.
