Indie poppers Belle & Sebastian will be playing a trio of shows in the US come August. Yes, indeed, the Scots will bring their fey brand of jangly orchestral shenanigans to Brooklyn, Berkeley and Los Angeles this summer. No other dates have been announced, so if you want a chance to check the kids out, go get your tickets on, as they went on sale over the weekend for the August shows. Brooklyn will host an August 19 show at Prospect Park Bandshell, August 22 will be the show at Berkeleyís Greek Theatre and the last show will take place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on August 24. The band are in the mixing stage of their new album, which is currently name-free. Stay tuned for album details and any further announcements of North America gigs.
