Cold Off Of Lollapalooza Tour; Portland Date Added

The return of Lollpalooza has taken its second hit in just a few weeks with the news that Cold has had to pull out of the event. This follows news that the first day of the tour was to be canceled due to insufficient stage setup at the inaugural show in Ionia, MI. Coldís official statement reads that they are ìtaking a short break from the road,î but it is believed that, sadly, the father of stand-in bassist Larry Melero has passed away. Melero was already standing in for regular bassist Jeremy Marshall, who is out with a broken arm. Not all news is bad news in the ëPalooza camp, however, as a new show has been announced, in Portland, OR, on August 24. Rejoice, Rip City!
