Now THIS is pretty interesting. The game of musical chairs starring band members has again started up. In an intriguing turn of affairs, Undercover Media is reporting that ex-Smashing Pumpkin James Iha has joined A Perfect Circle, furthering the A Perfect Circle-Smashing Pumpkins incestuous ties. APC was started up by the Pumpkinsí guitar tech, Billy Howerdal, and ex-APC bass player Paz Lechantin is currently in Billy Corganís Zwan project. A Perfect Circle have completed their sophomore album, The Outsider, due out September 16, although Iha evidently had no hand in that recording process. No word as to why Iha has chosen now to jump back in full-time to rock group duties nor is there any substantiation from Virgin, but if this is true, it makes for some eyebrow-raising information.
