When September Comes, Cake Again Brings Unlimited Sunshine

After the huge festival events that are Lollapalooza and Warped Tour, etc., Cake wants to offer their fans something a little more low-key. But low-key doesnít mean any less special. The Sacramento boys are unveiling their second annual Unlimited Sunshine tour. Atlanta will host the first date, on September 2 and the tour will hit major metro areas for two-and-a-half weeks until wrapping up in Los Angeles on September 20. While last yearís initial offering featured The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Kinky and De La Soul, joining Cake for the funtime extravaganza this year are power poppers extraordinaire Cheap Trick, Hackensaw Boys, Charlie Louvin and Detroit Cobras. Rock.
