Indie Rockers Rejoice! Coney Island’s Siren Festival Is Almost Here

This Saturday, the 2003 Siren Festival will blow the asshole out of world
famous Coney Island, in Brooklyn New York. The free, day long festival is
brought to New Yorkers (and indie rockers from abroad, including myself) by
Village Voice newspaper. To quote the famous poet Maya Angelou, “this shit
is going to be fucking bananas kid, for realz.” Modest Mouse, The Kills,
Radio 4, Ted Leo, !!!, and a number of other flaming hot bands will perform on two stages for this excellent dose of underground rock. Check out the
band line up here…I’ll send you a postcard.
