Weezer Rope In Bearded Wonder Rick Rubin For Fifth Album

Weezer have enlisted Rick Rubin to produce their fifth album, NME reports, which will no doubt be titled after a coinciding album cover color scheme. Last year all those who Weez posted over twenty songs on their official web site, but guitarist Brian Bell says that the dudes are playing acoustically at the moment. The forthcoming album is in the pre-production stages and Rubinís beard is still growing. As promised, Weezer will release their first DVD later this year. In other Weezer news check out that new EP from former bassist Matt Sharp, Puckett’s Versus the Country Boy, that shit is crazy good.
