Joe Strummmer & Mescaleros Final Work Out In October

The details for the final album from the late, great Joe Strummer have been revealed. The Clash genius, who passed away in an untimely manner late last year, was working on another Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros album at the time of his death. That album, Streetcore, has now been completed and Epitaph/Hellcat have announced an October 6 UK release date, with the album hitting US shelves the next day. Amongst the songs on Strummerís final work are the premier single, “Coma Girl,” and a cover of Bobís “Redemption Song.”
