OK, Iíll admit it, Kerrang! is nowhere near as metal heavy as they are stereotyped as being, but they still learn towards the guitar-heavy end of the spectrum. However, there are some pretty damn good guitar bands out there right now, as their list of potential winners suggests. The Darkness, Feeder, Muse, Funeral For A Friend, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Electric Six, Good Charlotte, Metallica, Foo Fighters, System Of A Down and White Stripes are all bands up for awards, with multiple nods going to Electric Six and the Foos, as well as 2003ís buzz band, The Darkness.
