The on again/off again White Stripes tour is on again and most of the cancelled dates have been rescheduled. As you all know, Jack White broke his finger in a car crash in his hometown of Detroit last month. The bone didnít heal properly and a surgery was necessary, to insert screws to insure the bone healed correctly this time around. That extra surgery caused the cancellation of some of the dates, all but two of which have been rescheduled. Nashville and Norfolk, VA, are the two unlucky cities, but Jack and Meg hope to make it back there as soon as possible. The first leg of the tour will still start in Berkeley on September 13 and will wrap September 26 in Mesa. A new second leg will now commence after the band returns from an Australasian tour, with the first night taking place November 10 in Milwaukee and the tour continuing through a stop in scenic Cleveland on November 30. Hooray for modern medicine!
