Two great tastes that taste great together, The Dandy Warhols and Massive Attack, have announced that they are planning on collaborating on a record together. Thereís some history there between the two acts, as The ëAttack have remixed Dandys songs in the past, including a stellar mix of 2001ís ìGodless.î As for the new album, Dandys leader Courtney Taylor-Taylor told Undercover News of Australia that the bands had been putting the album together but stopped the project in order to work on their own projects. As far as when the album might be completed, he stated, “Now we’ve both released records so we’re busy on tour a lot. We played together in Holland, so we were talking about what to do and we’re thinking since we’ve just built a new studio we should have them come to Portland and we’re thinking maybe next fall.î Although thatís a long time to wait, the potential quality of such a meeting of the minds will keep the anticipation high.
