Mike Newell, director of Donnie Brosco and Four Weddings and a Funeral, has been tapped to direct the fourth installment of the Harry Potter empire, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Warner Bros. will begin shooting next April in England and the picture is expected to be released in late 2005. The third movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is currently filming under the direction of Y Tu Mama Tambien shot caller Alfonso Cuaron. Newell’s next release, Mona Lisa Smile, stars Julia Roberts and will be seen this December. Seriously though, how many of these movies are they going to make? These kids are going to be in Depends diapers when the seventy-eighth installment is set to film.
