Matt Davis Of Ten Grand Dies At 26

Matt Davis, singer/guitarist of Iowa City, IA-based hardcore/punk/emo band Ten Grand, passed away yesterday from a seizure, according to a spokesperson for Southern Records. Matt was only 26 years of age, but has left a lasting impression on the thousands of loyal fans he’s touched over the years, as well as all those who knew and loved him. The band’s website has become a message board of remembrance, as hundreds of people have already posted thoughts, photos, and memories. Our sympathies go out to Matt’s family and friends, as well as the members of Ten Grand.
