Twilight Singers To Belt Out Second Record In October

Greg “I’ve got a dick for a brain” Dulli, formerly of the mesmerizing Ohio outfit Afghan Whigs, has rekindled his sultry Twilight Singers flame with plans to release Blackberry Belle on October 14 via Birdman/One Little Indian according to Billboard. The Singers released the repetitively titled Twilight as Played by the Twilight Singers in 2000 on Columbia and were later kicked in the arse by the label, and told to leave. Dulli has enlisted a revolving cast of characters who lent their various talents to the recording, 24 other performers to be exact, including Jesse Tobias, Mathias Schneeberger, Jon Skibic, Scott Ford, Apollonia Kotero and Mark Lanegan. Dulli, alongside some collection of musicians, will tour Stateside this October in support of the anticipated release, which will be preceded by the Black Is The Color EP, which fans can pick up at the live shows or on the official Birdman site next month.
