Ryan Adams’ New Album Gets Title, Release InfoÖ Finally

A couple months ago we reported that Ryan Adams had finished the proper follow-up to 2001’s Gold, but that his label, Lost Highway, had refused it saying that it was not his best work. The album was reportedly more of a rock & roll record and less of an alt-country album, which was the primary problem for Lost Highway. It seems however, that the two have finally reached an agreement and the album, actually titled Rock N Roll, will be in stores this November if all goes to plan. Rock N Roll will feature all new material recorded by Adams during recent sessions in NYC.

Ryan Adams’ “Rosalie Come And Go” will lead off Lost & Found – Vol I, a collection of rarities, B-sides, and unreleased music from Lost Highway. “Choked Up” from Whiskeytown, Bright Eyes’ “Trees Get Wheeled Away” (recorded especially for the comp) and The Jayhawks “Fools On Parade” are a few other of the notable tracks. Lost & Found is set for release next month.
