Australian pop weirdniks The Sleepy Jackson, stars of Player .045, are heading to our shores in support of their brand new debut, Lovers. Luke Steele and his posse of psychedelic pop mavens are set to open up a set of gigs for My Morning Jacket across eastern and central North America. New York will be lucky enough to have the first two gigs at the Bowery on September 6 and 7 and the tour will wind through major cities (AND Winooski, VT) until landing in Chicago on September 25. The band doesnít have another gig scheduled until theyíre due in the UK on October 6, so further West Coast gigs could still be added. Donít despair, Pacific Time Zone!
