Black Keys Embark On World Tour Today At Reading Festival

Fat Possum’s two-man blues rock upstarts The Black Keys have plotted an extensive tour of the UK, Australia, and the US for most of the fall, beginning today at the Reading Festival. The tour comes in support of the band’s sophomore release, Thickfreakness, which dropped back in April. The Black Keys have accomplished quite a bit since the album’s release. In addition to making their national TV debut on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, the band has toured alongside the likes of Beck and Dashboard Confessional. They were also nominated to the Shortlist Music Prize’s “long list.”

According to Billboard, a split single featuring three Black Keys tracks and one from Kent, Ohio-based band Six Parts Seven will be released September 9 via Suicide Squeeze. Look below for the Black Keys US Tour stops.
