2003 continued as the year of The Darkness as the Britrockers supreme collected two gongs at last nightís 2003 Kerrang Magazine Awards at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. The arena rockers took home two of the most prestigious awards, the Best Live Act gong and the award for Best Album, for the hit-laden Permission To Land. What is perhaps even more amazing is that their album has only been out for two months and still took top honors. Other winners included Electric Six taking the Best Video award for their highly amusing ìGay Barî clip, Feeder going home with the Best British Act gong, Linkin Park winning the Best International Act nod and Bay Area boys Metallica being elected to the Hall Of Fame.
