Helmet “Best Of” On The Way, Safety Council Approved

Helmet, the chunky riffed outburst of guitarist Page Hamilton, will release a retrospective on November 4, highlighting tracks from the bandís short-lived three-album career. There is no official word on new, rare, or unreleased songs for this anticipated disc, but one thing is for certain…this dog will bite! I donít know what that meant either, blame it on the caffeine. Fans should count out the possibility of a Helmet reunion however, and word on the Billboard site is that Hamilton has also nixed Gandhi, a project that consisted of ex-Rob Zombie associates John Tempesta and Rob Nicholson. Look for a new track from Page Hamilton, ìThrowing Punches,î on the Underworld movie soundtrack, which will wreak havoc on your mind and body September 2 via Lakeshore Records, while the movie can be seen in theaters everywhere beginning September 19.
