Ben Gibbard is a busy, busy boy. Not satisfied with his critically-acclaimed Postal Service side project, the Bellingham, WA, native is heading back to his primary band, Death Cab For Cutie. A new album, Transatlanticism is due out on October 7 in the US via Barsuk and a day prior in the UK on the Fierce Panda label, and to that end, the boys are hitting the pavement. A large tour kicks off in their home state on the first day of October in Spokane and rolls, bumps, and grinds its way across the US until rolling to a stop on November 22 almost back where it started, in Seattle. The excellent Nada Surf, The Long Winters, and Mates Of State will share supporting duties on various dates, so to see who you get to have warm the stage for your DCFC gig, peep the dates below.
