Polyphonic Spree Kicked To Curb By UK Label

In a strange turn of events, 89-man band Polyphonic Spree has been sliced from the roster of their UK label. 679 Recordings, UK home to The Streets, has cut ties with the Spree, just as the Dallas-based ensemble was in final stages of finishing up their sophomore album. Insufficient sales were said to be the cause, although the band was highly-rated by fans and critics alike, lighting up their Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds Festival appearances this summer. No mind, then, as the Spree still have US tour dates coming up in November. Theyíll kick the tour off in Louisville on November 11 and head west for a short two week jaunt, ending the tour after the second of two dates in San Diego on November 24. Check the dates below to see if youíve won the Polyphonic Spree lottery.
