Charity tours are always a good idea and this year the Take Action Tour is back and better than ever. Benefitting 1-800-Suicide and the National Hopeline Network, the tour this year will feature sets from luminaries such as Poison The Well, Further Seems Forever, Shadows Fall, Dillinger Escape Plan and many others. A CD is also in the mix, as in past years, featuring tracks from the acts on the marquees. Poison The Well is on all dates but the final two, and the bills change in some towns, so do your research to make sure the kids you want to see are playing in your ëhood. September 11 sees the joint launched in Minneapolis, with the rockiní and rolliní continuing on through Portland a month later on October 12. A great cause, a ravenous fan base, bands who rock like they believe it and $18 tickets. What else could you ask for?
