In a match made in heaven, Phantom Planet and Ben Lee have joined forces for a fall tour of the US. Beginning with a two night stand at the Roxy in LA on October 22 and 23, the two acts will make their way across the country on a 22-date rock & roll trek. Along the way, Ben Lee will be supporting his latest effort, Hey You. Yes You., which was released via newly formed F2 Music on August 5. Phantom Planet will be supporting their 2002 debut album, The Guest, though I’d expect their set to include a number of new songs from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album. The as-yet-untitled album is set for release early next year, according to the band’s official website.
