Talking Heads Box Set On The Way

A three-CD, one-DVD Talking Heads box set will hit shelves on November 11 through Rhino Records/Warner Archives. Dubbed Once In A Lifetime, the release will span the career of the trend-setting four-piece, including most of their well-known hits, rarities, and a number of unreleased tracks. “Psycho Killer,” “Take Me To The River,” “Life During Wartime,” “Once In A Lifetime,” “Burning Down The House,” and other favorites can be found on the CD portion. According to Billboard, five previously unreleased tracks are also featured. “In Asking Land” is an out take from 1988’s Naked sessions. Alternate versions of “Uh-Oh, Love Comes To Town,” “New Feeling,” “Cities,” and “Drugs,” along with a never before released live version of “A Clean Break” will also feature.

The DVD is a spiffed up version of the 1988 VHS Storytelling Giant, featuring all of the band’s videos. Three new videos will be found with the new box set – “Blind,” “(Nothing But) Flowers” and “Sax And Violins.”
