Air Team With Nigel Godrich For New Album

French band Air enlisted the help of Nigel Godrich (Radiohead/Beck) for their next release, Talkie Walkie, which will hit the streets on January 27 via Astralwerks. The electronic duo worked with the extraordinarily talented producer once before, as he mixed their collaboration with Italian author Alessandro Baricco, City Reading, earlier this year. According to Billboard, JB Dunckel and Nicolas Godin handle all of the singing on the forthcoming release, shying away from guest vocalists (which they have used in the past).

Air also have a track on the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola’s Lost In Translation, available through Emperor Norton. They provided the entire soundtrack to Coppola’s directorial debut, The Virgin Suicides, in 2000.
