Ozzy Osbourne In The Process Of Writing A Broadway Musical

Who better to write a musical based on the life of insane Russian monk Rasputin than the Prince Of Darkness himself? That’s clearly what went though Ozzy’s head when he started work on the project. According to MTV, Ozzy has already written material for the Broadway musical and plans to record at a studio he’s currently building in the Osbourne mansion. When/if these songs are released as an album, they will be distributed independently, as Ozzy recently parted ways with Sony Music and has no plans to entertain offers from any other labels. “We don’t like record labels,” Sharon Osbourne told MTV.

Daughter Kelly isn’t to keen on them either, as she was dropped by Epic earlier this year. Kelly’s debut album, Shut Up, will be re-released through Sanctuary on September 30 and will include the duet, “Changes,” with Ozzy.
