Damien Rice Takes Home The Shortlist Music Prize

The third annual Shortlist Music Awards ceremony was held last night at the spacious Wiltern Theater in LA and attendees were treated to a number of live performances, including a 4-song set by the Shortlist winner, Damien Rice. Also nominated for the award and playing live on the evening were Interpol, The Streets, The Black Keys, Bright Eyes, Cody ChestnuTT, Floetry and Cat Power. the other two acts up for the award were 2001 winners Sigur Ros and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
